Take your winter camping experience to the next level this January with Auburn Outdoors as your guide. This once-in-a-lifetime trip will take you to the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge where you’ll canoe the swamp during the day and sleep on a floating campsite at night. The 680-square-mile wilderness is home to an abundance of wildlife including turtles, birds, and alligators. A required pre-trip meeting for participants will be held on December 2nd at 5 PM at Auburn Outdoors. Transportation, meals, camping accommodations, entrance fees, and all gear are included in the trip fee.

Climb on with Auburn Outdoors this Spring! We are heading up to the popular climbing area Foster Falls. This trip is for intermediate to advanced climbers looking to escape the gym for the weekend. Trip participants must have an active belay verification at Auburn Outdoors' Climbing Wall. A required pre-trip meeting for participants will be held on April 1st at 5 p.m. at Auburn Outdoors. All gear, transportation, food, and guided experience are included in the trip fee.

Learn how to belay and tie knots for top rope climbing as well as proper equipment usage and commands used at Auburn Outdoors Climbing Wall. Our goal is to help you prepare for a Top Rope Skills Verification. Top Rope Skills Verification permits you to belay other members on our Wall. After 24 hours of completing the workshop, you will be eligible to take the Top Rope Skills Verification.

You'll get hands-on instruction in the water. This workshop is perfect for beginners or avid paddlers looking to refine their skills before heading out on their next river adventure. Don't worry - we'll provide all the gear you need to roll it out.

Have you mastered top rope basics? Take your climbing to the next level at our Lead Climbing Workshop. You'll learn proper belay technique, equipment use and care, and clipping techniques for lead climbing at Auburn Outdoors' Climbing Wall. Our goal is to help you prepare for your Lead Climbing Skills Verification. Lead Climbing Skills Verification permits you to lead climb and utilize a GriGri at our Wall. Participants who take this workshop will automatically be registered for a Lead Climbing Skills Verification on March 7th from 1- 2 p.m. Top Rope Skills Verification and the ability to comfortably climb a 5.10 are workshop prerequisites.

Ski the East! Ski or snowboard with Auburn Outdoors for Spring Break at West Virginia's WinterPlace - the # 1 place to learn to ski in the Southeast! On this 5-night, 6-day trip you will ski or snowboard, snow tube, and enjoy the winter weather with other students from Auburn. With an array of trails from green to black diamond, you'll have your choice of slopes to shred. A required pre-trip meeting will be held on February 11 at 5 p.m. at Auburn Outdoors.
