The AU Club team was founded in the fall of 2014 and had only 6 members originally. Despite our small size we grew quickly, adding more members the spring semester. In our first meet ever, the men placed 3rd and the women placed 7th at the University of Tennessee Invitational. During the fall of 2015, we expanded our roster to nearly 30 athletes. Over the course of the 2015-2016 year we attended 3 meets, and began to become a threat in the south, placing 4th overall at the FSU Invitational. In 2016, we grew to 50 athletes and hosted our first ever home meet. Then in fall of 2017, we hit our record high number of 93 athletes and we expect to break triple digits for athletes in the fall of 2018 season.
