We offer a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for participants to gain valuable self-defence skills while achieving higher fitness levels. Shorinji Kan Jiu Jitsu encompasses locking, throwing and striking techniques, allowing for a controlled response to a violent confrontation by using the attacker's movement and momentum against him/herself. This martial art can be used by anyone, irrespective of strength, weight or gender.nNew students are encouraged to try two free trial session and do not need a high standard of physical fitness or flexibility to begin. Initially students who would like to participate can simply wear comfortable gym attire such as track pants and t-shirt. Those interested in pursuing Jiu Jitsu will require a white gi uniform
