Adventure Recreation Clubs (Outdoor, Climbing,Whit
Specialized outdoor adventure based tours and activities offered by outdoor
recreation and lead by experienced leaders provide a great way for individuals to get out and explore nature and meet people with similar outdoor interests. Membership: $35.00 per year and includes Outdoor and Whitewater clubs, kayak sessions, workshops. Trips are open to members and non-members.
Outdoor Club: If you are interested in traveling on outdoor trips and enjoying the many natural areas in Ontario and abroad, then the Outdoor Club is for you. Trips range from beginner to advanced skill levels. A great way to meet people with similar outdoor interests and a common sense of adventure. For more information outdoor@mcmaster.ca . McMaster Whitewater is for both experienced and novice kayakers. The
club
offers skill development courses for beginner kayakers in fall and
winter and kayaking trips for all skill levels. Club members can expect
trips ranging from 1 to 3 days, to places like the Ottawa River, Elora
Gorge, Gull River

McMaster Climbing Club is a separate club with a fee of $25.
The club organizes a variety of climbing events all year round. Trips will range from day trips to several days and will be suitable for all skill levels. The club is open to McMaster students and the community, and includes alumni and staff members. Join us for some climbing fun!
