Challenge Program

About the Program: This program offers groups, teams and individuals innovative ways to improve their abilities to work with others. Focus is on creative problem solving and effective communication. The experience will increase trust and enhance group cohesion. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of the group. Location: Sites vary depending on the group’s preference. Groups may choose facilities and grounds from our challenge course at Indian Creek Recreation Area, the downtown campus or off-campus locations. Reservations: Complete online reservation at recreation.gsu.edu/cp. Reserve date and make payment at least three weeks in advance. Confirm all details two weeks in advance. A minimum of a 10 person charge is required but larger or smaller groups are easily accommodated. Sessions may range from two hours to half-day or a full day. 


PRICING*

Students per person:

Two-hour event is $10, half-day (low only) is $12, half-day (highs) is $16, and full day is $30. 

Faculty or staff per person: 

Two-hour event is $15, half-day (low only) is $18, half-day (highs) is $20, and full day is $40.

*deli-style lunch available for half and full day programs for an additional $5 per person.

Wall Hours of Operation

Jan. 13- Apr. 27: Mon/Wed./Fri., 12-6 p.m.; Tues./Thurs., 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Apr. 28-May 5: Mon.-Fri.,12 -5 p.m.

Closed when student classes are on break. Bouldering Cave is open during normal building hours. Free Try Climbing Anytime: No certification required. Bring your PantherCard. All equipment provided.

Outdoor Equipment Rental

For a small fee, students and members may rent equipment for their own outdoor adventures! We're located on the lower level of the Student Recreation Center with access on the outside near parking plaza.

Trips & Clinics

To register, visit us on the lower level of the Student Recreation Center with access on the outside near parking plaza. Registration opens the first day of each semester and participants should register no later than the Tuesday before the trip. Liability waivers will be signed at the time of registration or on the day of the trip.
